Once the rental agreement is signed, the booking is confirmed. -
We recommend booking 1–3 weeks in advance as a minimum, especially for weekends between May and October when demand is highest.
Peak summer weekends can book quickly.

Yes. A non-refundable deposit in the amount of 30% of the rental fee is required to secure your reservation.
We require a credit card to be kept securely on file in the event of equipment being damaged, stolen, or equipment cleaning, etc.

Yes! We serve Muskoka and surrounding areas. Delivery and pickup services are available for a fee based on distance.
Standard delivery fee of $75.00 includes up to 50 km each way, with additional distance charged at $1.50 per kilometre.
Pickups are by appointment only.

Delivery includes placement of equipment at ground level.
Full event setup services may be available depending on the rental item or rental package, and fees are outlined on our Other Fees table.

We accept cash, debit, major credit cards and electronic payments.
Invoices are provided for all bookings.

No. Muskoka Grill & Gather Co. is strictly an equipment rental provider. Clients operate the equipment themselves or arrange their own chefs or caterers.
This approach allows you flexibility in planning your event while keeping rental costs economical.

Our standard rental period allows:
Earliest delivery/drop-off: 10:00 AM (unless agreed to in advance)
Latest pickup: 9:00 PM (unless agreed to in advance)
Equipment not available for pickup by 9:00 PM may be subject to an additional rental day unless agreed to in advance (is your event is a late evening event).

Yes. Weekend rentals are our most popular booking period. Be sure to book as early as possible in advance.

Clients supply their own charcoal or propane. We can provide some guidance for approximate requirements.

Charcoal typically takes 4–8 hours to fully cool depending on quantity and airflow.
Clients should allow sufficient time before pickup and must ensure coals are safely extinguished.

Clients are responsible for:
Safe operation of equipment
Proper supervision while equipment is in use
Ensuring equipment is not left unattended while hot
Basic cleaning (removal of food debris)
Ensuring charcoal is extinguished prior to pickup/return.

Deep cleaning and sanitization are handled by Muskoka Grill & Gather Co prior to every rental.
We ask that clients remove food residue and debris.
A standard cleaning fee of $50.00 may apply depending on equipment type such as our charcoal and propane grills.

Clients are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
We recommend ensuring equipment is used on stable surfaces and protected from extreme weather.

We recommend tents or backup covered areas when planning outdoor gatherings.
